General Manager (Retail)

· Reporting of Sales - comparison each branch and each section

· Develop retail Sales strategies; 10% coupon sale, promotion item

- Arrange advertisement on Korean newspaper

- Set up reduced priced on RMS system

· Support to Retail branches operation eg. If branches got problems, sort out problem or make arrangement e.g. break down Freezer/install new system/need of new rack, packaging etc. Non-food or factory part demand order from Korea

· Supervise and Train Shop Managers: Develop and implement training programs, including creating training manuals and conducting sessions on ordering, product display, hygiene requirements, staff management, and development.

· Liaise with Shop Managers: Communicate regularly with shop managers to coordinate delivery schedules, ensuring timely and efficient stock replenishment.

· New Product Development: Collaborate with the product development team to introduce new items, staying ahead of market trends and customer preferences.

· Coordinate New Shop Openings: Plan and execute the opening of new retail locations, including overseeing staffing, training, and logistical arrangements to ensure successful launches.

· Local order and handle suppliers - France Live Turbot, meat beef, pork, beef ribs etc

· Manage Health and safety issue with council

· Manage Alcohol licence in branches

· Carry out projects e.g. New Nutrition regulation

· Co-operate to implant of New RMS and SAP v9

· Set - up all vegetable/factory item's bar-code

· Respond to ad hoc requests and assignments from senior management

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a food retail management role



• Business-level fluency in English is required; proficiency in Korean is a plus



• Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt



• Able to work to deadlines and prioritise workload according to given timescales with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail



• Ability to work on own initiative, plan and manage own workload to deliver effective services



• Logical thinker with appropriate negotiation skills



• Have outstanding organisational skills and have a meticulous eye for detail



• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task



• IT literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, Bachelor's (required)


Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)


• Retail management: 5 years (required)
