General Manager - Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

An excellent permanent and full time opportunity has become available to join the team as a General Manager based on site at HMP Five Wells, Wellingborough, NN8 2NG. This is a hands on role responsible for overseeing the catering operations.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the successful and smooth running of all inmate catering (breakfast, lunch and dinner), a counter service for visitors and a staff grab and go offer. As GM, you will lead a team of Aramark employees to success whilst managing the P&L.

This is a full time position working weekdays and weekends. Full security clearance is required to work on site which can take c3 months.,

• Build and maintain key relationships both internally and externally and attend regular service level review meetings


• Recruit, train and lead your teams to success


• Oversee all aspects of the operation to deliver outstanding service levels


• Manage all hospitality for our events and functions


• Full P&L responsibility; manage all financials and achieve food and labour targets


• Oversee and ensure all cleaning and safety procedures are consistently delivered
  
  Experience operating as a General Manager with hospitality experience


• Experience leading a team to success


• Financially astute and commercially aware


• First class customer service skills and a passion for delivering service excellence
