General Manager - Wigan depot

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Manager at our Wigan depot to join our team of Senior Leaders across Go North West. You will at the heart of delivering the Bee Network, responsible for both day-to-day depot activities at Wigan and strategy setting for the site.

• A people focussed individual, with experience of leading, managing, motivating, and developing high performing teams.
• Demonstrable experience in creating a safe and continuously improving working environment.
• Capable of developing a site-specific strategy and translating it into a deliverable annual plan.
• Well-developed organisational, negotiating, decision- making, analytical and leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• A flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Holder of Manager Certificate of Professional Competence or equivalent (or willing to obtain).
• Transport experience is an advantage but not essential.
