General Manager with Accommodation - Milton Keynes

A rare opportunity has arisen for a General Manager for our lovely Destination pub Situated on the Grand Union Canal, aside the picturesque Campbell Wharf, in Milton Keynes, the Warbler is the social hub and destination for residents and the local community to enjoy. Two floors of aesthetically eye-catching and comfortable dining space, with a defined bar area complete with a roaring fire, the pub also features a beautiful outside terrace & bar overlooking the marina on a key leisure route for cyclists and walkers along the canal. This is a great food business with a strong reputation locally and potential to grow. The right candidate will have a proven track record of growing sales in a volume food led business, a strong people skillset and a desire to build and lead an engaged team. A love of food is important, chefs' recommendations are key to the Destination concept as well as exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will be a creative, energetic problem solver who wants to make this pub stand out by putting their own stamp on the business, developing a strong team, engaging guests through events and social media but most of all focussing on the basics to ensure we deliver the Destination experience. The venue is food led with a split of 55/45 split and caters for up to 3000 covers weekly, with sales of 50-100K, depending on the season. This is a flagship business with an experienced and enthusiastic team of over 70 so candidates must have a strong people skillset and experience running a large team. Key General Manager Attributes

  Salary of up to 48,000 per annum live in dependant on experience
