Are you looking for a new challenge with the opportunity to apply your existing knowledge and skills whilst also developing a new skillset? Do you want to be at the forefront of a new role in the PCN making a difference to patient care?, An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our multi-disciplinary PCN Team due to the changes in the ARRS Scheme, we are looking to expand our team by seeking to employ a newly qualified General Practitioner to work alongside our practices and PCN staff.

Our PCN staff currently includes Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, Health & Wellbeing Coach, Mental Health Practitioner, Paramedics, First Contact Physiotherapist, GPAs, Pharmacist Technicians, PCN Manager/Digital & Transformation Lead and a Care Home Team.

The successful applicants will work alongside the PCN and practice teams to support healthcare professionals, patients, and carers.

You will be based at:

Roslea Surgery

Riverside Medical Centre

The Ryan Medical Centre

New Longton Surgery

Lostock Hall Medical Centre

Other associated PCN sites (for example Care Homes and Home Visits)

To be involved in the provision of education and training to GP Registrars and other staff.

To be professionally accountable and responsible for all elements of clinical practice in accordance with the GMC code of conduct ensuring the safety of patients and quality of their care is primary.

The post holder will need to be capable of independent travel across the Preston and, South Ribble area. This role is a fixed term position for 6 months until the end of March 2025., So as a primary care network ,with its member practices working ever closer together, it is important to establish shared core values which not only enables us to adapt, but to do so in the way that we all feel is right for our patients and staff. The outstanding contributions from Ryan, Roslea and Riverside surgeries in developing Bridgedales SHINE values is a key milestone and prepares the ground for the future.

GP practices have been working together in our area for years and formed BridgedalePrimary Care Network (PCN).Bridegale Primary Care Network is made up of GP registered patient lists for Roslea Surgery, Riverside Medical Centre and the Ryan Medical Centre. We serve a community of around 30,000 people. We are small enough to provide the personal care valued by our people and large enough to have impact and economies of scale through better collaboration.
