The successful candidate will be an appropriately qualified NMC Registered Nurse or Advanced Nurse Practitioner, working substantively within General Practice in Norfolk & Waveney.
We welcome applications from passionate clinicians who are able to demonstrate empathy and patience, be passionate about the profession and are able to provide pastoral support to others.
We can all reflect on the importance of mentors and role models in our own careers, and this is an opportunity to have that kind of influence on the incoming generation as they set out on a career in health and care.

NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) plans and buys healthcare services for our local population. We are accountable for the performance and finances of the NHS across Norfolk and Waveney - a total budget of £2 billion a year. Known as NHS Norfolk and Waveney, the organisation works with local people, health and care professionals, and partner organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of our population.
The organisation is part of the Norfolk & Waveney Integrated Care System (ICS). A system dedicated to working with partners in local government, the voluntary sector and others and helping the NHS to support broader social and economic development and to tackle inequalities in health outcomes.
The role of the ICS is seen as one of facilitation, empowerment, and engagement. The ICS focuses on driving consistency and ensuring best practice is shared and adopted, and its governance reflects this role. Member trusts and organisations are still responsible for delivering their own plans, looking to learn from each other.
