Full Job Description
Your role will be to support the smooth running of clinics by improving patient flow within surgery hours increasing efficiency and reducing wait times. Your role will also include developing links with colleagues within the service and local communities to ensure delivery of integrated, patient focused care, demonstrating flexibility in the role and a caring attitude towards patients. You will work across the three PICS Practices: Hama, Meden and Whyburn along with PICS HQ. If you are passionate about patient care and have excellent communication skills this may be the role for you!,
- Extracting all information from clinical letters that needs coding and adding to notes
- Arranging appointments, referrals, tests and follow up appointments of patients
- Preparing patients prior to going in to see the GP, taking a brief history and basic readings in readiness for the GP appointment.
GCSE English and Maths Grade C or Equivalent - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook
