As a GP, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

• Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.

  MBChB or MBBS

• Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
• RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to be the one of the first to join our team at HMP Millsike, a Category C men's prison, located in the village of Full Sutton near York HMP Millsike will have an operational capacity of 1500 people who will spend their sentences learning the skills they need to find work on release as part of the governments drive to cut reoffending. The prison site is currently under construction and Practice Plus Group were recently awarded the healthcare contract to begin delivering services in April 2025.
