Full Job Description

As the General Sales Manager for Norton Way Honda & Carverse, it will be your responsibility to oversee the processes and activities of the sales department. You will report directly into the Head of Business, on the day-to-day business developments, progress, and sales. Provide and monitor performance figures, statistics, and plans.

  • Build a high performing and successful sales team. Supporting them to achieve high sales targets, ensure they have the tools
  • and training available, to achieve the targets set for the department and to meet our customers' expectations.
  • Have a systematic and comprehensive understanding of the current market, how to develop the sales team and ensure sales
  • processes are adhered to.
  • The General Sales Manager will understand the departments financial data, then use this to develop a strong departmental
  • strategic plan. Data will be used to create quarterly and annual forecasts for the sales department.
  • You will analyse customer satisfaction reports, to fully understand our customer experience, then put recommendations in place
  • to improve our customer service.

  • A robust ethical background and thought process, and each staff member approaches their role with integrity. You will ensure
  • this is maintained and you ensure the team complies with legislation and adheres to our companies' values.
  • You will be an analytical thinker and use the departments data to improve the skills of the sales team.
  • As a General Sales Manager you will have strong communication skills and demonstrate these when interacting with the sales team
  • and customers alike.
  • With your strong interpersonal skills, you will use these to build relationships with fellow employees, stakeholders and
  • customers.
  • Have good time management and be able to manage your time effectively.
  • A full driving licence will be required for the role.
