The successful applicant will be an NHS employee and may therefore have contact with vulnerable service users. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been necessary to take significant steps to protect the health and safety of our staff, service users and those attending our sites. Unless exempt, we encourage and support staff to be vaccinated as this remains the best line of defence against COVID-19., The main duties of this role involve working in all the departments within the hospital including the wards, MIU etc, and will involve cleaning, catering, and basic food preparation in order to provide a good service to our patients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident person(s) to join the hospital support team at Camborne Redruth Community Hospital to ensure a clean and well-kept environment for our patients.
The successful candidate(s) ideally will have experience in cleaning and catering within the NHS or an equivalent organisation. They will join our team of General Service Assistants supporting the Hotel Services Supervisor at Camborne Redruth Community Hospital
The post holder(s) will be expected to work in the patient environment, communicating effectively and sensitively with all service users, carers and professionals promoting good working relationships. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and quality of service is also of the utmost importance.
The successful candidate(s) must be a team player but also be confident in their ability to work alone. They also must be able to manage their time effectively; prioritising tasks appropriately and maintain a high standard accuracy.'
