Full Job Description

General Surgery Department is seeking for a highly motivated, professional and competent patient pathway co-ordinator to work within the Directorate at St Georges Hospital. The post will be supporting a team of highly skilled Upper GI & Colorectal consultants, The role will involve booking and ensuring the smooth running of elective and day case admissions. The post holder will also be involved in the validation of inpatient pathways, ensuring pathway management is in line with the Trust's Access Policy. Patients need to be robustly tracked through the appropriate pathway and ensure that all the relevant data is accurately recorded, reported and analysed in a timely manner in order to meet national and internal targets.
