Full Job Description

To contribute to the development and provision of services to children and young people with complex mental health needs. This will include assessing, planning and delivering care packages both within groups and also individually and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Bradford District Care Trust has an exciting opportunity to join the trust as a mental health practitioner within Children Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). We are looking to recruit experienced band 6 practitioners (nurses, social workers, occupational therapists) into CAMHS.

Assessments / Risk Assessments / Interventions / Autonomous working

The role will consist of completing assessments of mental heath need. Assessments can cover a variety of presentations and take place in different settings. Assessments will be delivered in a clinic setting as well as within the community. There is a need for assessments to take place in ward settings to support young people back into the community., Everything we do is underpinned by our core values: -
