Geology Technician

Your role - As a Geologist Technician you will support the the drilling activities within the UK Hub geology function. The Geology Technician will work in line with Imerys Safety standards, with well-defined timelines, responsibilities and a clear method of measuring improvement and performance., Drilling,
Geological mapping,
Sampling,
Handle and manage the drill core,
Prepare the core for logging and sampling,
Setting-up holes,
Drill rig coordination,
Picking up collar locations.
What's in it for you?

Have a positive attitude towards the work which can be repetitive and exposed to all weathers, work as part of a team and ideally have the following;
Degree level qualified in Science or Engineering - Geology or Mining Geology
Direct and relevant experience in working on drilling campaign activities
Full clean driving licence or other means of transportation to get to and from work.
Self-sufficient and self-motivated with the capability to plan and take personal responsibility for undertaking a range of designated tasks without direct supervision.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships of mutual respect at all levels in a challenging working environment.
