This scheme is open to students in their penultimate year of undergraduate study and who are on course for a 2:1 or 1st class degree, as indicated by exam results from previous years.
Applicants must be studying for:
• A degree in economics or, if it is a joint degree, economics must comprise at least 50% of the total course studied so far (year 1 and 2),
• A joint honours undergraduate degree at a Scottish university, where at least 50% of the modules studied/to be studied during the final two years of the course must be in economics,
• Philosophy Politics and Economics (PPE) degree where at least 50% of the modules studied/to be studied during the final two years of the course must be in economics.
All degrees must include Macro and Microeconomics., • Able to conduct data analysis using MS Excel and other statistical software
• Able to contribute to economic briefings
• Able to contribute to economic analysis
• Able to conduct economic data gathering
• Able to communicate complex analysis in non-technical language to colleagues with different professional backgrounds, This scheme is open to economic undergraduate students in their penultimate year (i.e. year before the final year of undergraduate study) who are on course for a 2:1 or 1st class degree, as demonstrated by their first year exam results.

Minimum of £22,699 national locations / minimum of £26,500 in London. Please see attached job description pack for specific departmental salary information.
