GIS Applications Specialist

Cantium Business Solutions is seeking a talented GIS Applications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support and implement Geographical Information Systems (GIS) solutions for key customers, working with cutting-edge technology like ESRI and Ordnance Survey products to enhance GIS services. If you have experience with GIS systems and are passionate about improving business efficiency through geospatial technology, we want to hear from you!,

• Install, configure, and test ESRI Enterprise software and ArcGIS Online in Microsoft Azure.
• Migrate users, content, and applications from legacy systems to new GIS installations.
• Provide ongoing GIS support services, including user provisioning and incident resolution.
• Develop and manage chargeable GIS products and services, such as custom maps and datasets.
• Promote Ordnance Survey premium products and complementary services for public sector clients.
• Design and implement GIS solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Continuously improve GIS services and ensure adherence to best practices.
  
  Ideally a degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.
• 1+ year working with GIS systems and geospatial data.
• Proficient in ESRI (ArcGIS) and Ordnance Survey products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of GIS technical solutions and architectures.
• Experience with project management and testing processes.
• Advanced proficiency in working with geospatial data for various applications
