GiveMeSport - EPL Journalist

This position will operate on a remote, contractual basis. To be eligible for this opportunity, you must be located in the United Kingdom. Are you a Premier League fan with a background in sports publishing? GIVEMESPORT.COM is looking for contributors to cover EPL feature content for the website. The ideal candidate will have a passion for football, the capacity to contribute on a regular basis, and the ability to create compelling articles that inform and engage our readers. Expectations:

• Write consistently and meet assigned deadlines
• Generate and pitch new ideas/topics for articles
• Communicate and coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback
• Stay up to date on the latest EPL news including stats, matches, injuries, etc.
• Input work into our in-house CMS following our style and formatting guidelines
• Find and format images according to our guidelines
• Optimise content to ensure best performance on Google and Social Media
  
  Must reside UK
• In-depth knowledge and deep passion for the EPL
• Excellent writing and proof-reading skills
• Previous experience writing for a sports publication
• Previous experience working with a CMS
• Willingness to improve and implement feedback
• Must be available to work 4 to 5 days per week
