Full Job Description

This position will operate on a remote, freelance basis. To be eligible for this opportunity, you must be located in the United Kingdom, USA, or Canada. Are you a WWE fan with a background in sports publishing? GIVEMESPORT.COM is looking for freelance contributors to cover WWE content for the publication. The ideal candidate will have a passion for WWE, the capacity to contribute on a regular basis, and the ability to create compelling articles that inform and engage our readers. We cover news, features, and interviews across a broad range of sports, from football (https://www.givemesport.com/football/) to MMA (https://www.givemesport.com/tag/ufc/) , catering its content to a global audience of more than 30 million fans each and every month. Expectations:

  • Write consistently and meet assigned deadlines
  • Generate and pitch new ideas/topics for articles
  • Communicate and coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback
  • Stay up to date on the latest WWE news including storylines, matches, injuries, and roster changes.
  • Input work into our in-house CMS following our style and formatting guidelines
  • Find and format images according to our guidelines
  • Optimize content to ensure best performance on Google and Social Medi a

    Must reside in the US, Canada, or UK
  • In-depth knowledge and deep passion for WWE
  • Excellent writing and proof-reading skills
  • Previous experience writing for a sports publication
  • Previous experience working with a CMS
  • Willingness to improve and implement feedback
