Full Job Description

Set up in 2020, during the first Covid19 lockdown, Glamp and Tipple is a family run glamping company offering a wide variety of luxury glamping experiences. Their head office is based in Attleborough and their luxury glamping site in Great Ellingham.

Our luxury glamping site, which opened on 12th April 2021, is based in Great Ellingham and we pride ourselves on offering our guests the ultimate in luxury glamping breaks.

Helen and Louise are the founders and owners of Glamp and Tipple and they have invested a huge amount of time and effort in building the brand and reputation over the past two years and are excited to find a like minded person to join their existing team.

Fundamentally, Glamp and Tipple is family run and the intention is that we do not loose the individuality and personal touches that have made us what we are today. It is vital to our continued success that we find the right fit for the company and have people on board who understand that every single job/guest matters and that the standards we expect are high.

Overview of Work Required for the Glamping Site Assistant Role

When working at our Glamp and Tipple there will be a number of tasks required of you and we need people who are happy to 'muck in' and turn their hand to anything:

Cleaning and setting up yurts for next guests
Making beds
Refilling items in the yurts including; teas, coffee, biscuits, wood, firelighters, kindling, towels and robes
Ensuring all stoves, BBQs and fire pits have been cleaned of ash
Ensuring all bins have been emptied
Ensuring all kitchen areas and equipment has been properly cleaned and ready for next guest
Cleaning log burner flues
Ensuring the inventory in each yurt is checked before each guest check in
Prepping and cleaning hot tubs prior to guest arrival (including using chlorine free chemicals)
Decorating yurts as and when required
Setting up extras as and when booked by the client
Learning the check in and check out procedure
Keeping the communal areas and bathrooms clean at all times
Stock checking of the shop

Full training for all work will be given and there will be a period of shadow time for you to learn on the job with an experienced member of the team.

Full UK driving license
Available to work on the set hours above plus additional hours when required
Excellent customer service
Confident 'can do' attitude
Ability to converse with clients and other members of the public confidently
Happy to always go the extra mile for our clients/guests
Excellent attention to detail
Good standard of written and verbal English

Desired Requirements for Role

Enjoyment/understanding/interest of and in glamping or other hospitality setting
Good understanding of computers
Good problem solver

Ability to think for yourself
Ability to come up with fresh and new ideas and be confident in sharing these!

MONDAYS 9:30-2:30 or 10:30-3:30

FRIDAYS 9:30-2:30 or 10:30-3:30

SUNDAYS 10:30-3:30

These are the set standard days and hours of work but there will be extra hours/days required to cover staff absence or busy holiday periods.
