Full Job Description

The Education team is seeking an Associate (or Sr. Associate) Global Academic Program Manager who will be responsible for establishing and growing SAS usage within Higher Education by cultivating relationships with key individuals. The focus is on the adoption of SAS in curriculum in support of the efforts to develop the SAS users of the future. As an Associate/Sr. Associate Global Academic Program Manager , you will:

  • Develop relationships and alliances with organisations in the Higher Education/Academic industry to maximise the use of SAS in academia.
  • Provide recommendations to management on strategies to increase growth.
  • Plan and implement growth strategies to increase the usage of SAS with existing organizations in the Higher Education/Academic industry.
  • Act as liaison to address customer inquiries with appropriate internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction with SAS offerings.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • When applicable, introduce new versions of SAS software, services and education opportunities to existing customers.
  • When applicable, deliver presentations on SAS software's capabilities in support of academia.
  • Plan and deliver Talent Connection Events with SAS commercial customers (local and EMEA level)

    Bachelor's or master's Degree ideally in Data Science, Marketing, Life Science or any related subject or/and some background/experience in one of these disciplines will be preferred.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Public speaking experience preferred.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Fluent in English. An additional European language will be a distinctive advantage.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to work and learn independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn and develop general knowledge of SAS products.
