Global Business Development Lead - Retail

About the role: As Senior Business Development Manager in the Global Retail Sales Team, your core responsibility is to acquire, manage, and cultivate partnerships with some of the largest retailers across the globe, ensuring JET delivers a winning proposition to its consumers. Alongside establishing new partnerships, you guide the development of the category consumer proposition, collaborating cross-functionally with Tech, Marketing, Compliance, and Logistics teams, positioning JET as a leader in your verticals. These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Shape and implement the commercial strategy of your retail category through International Partnerships and cross-functional capabilities;
• Oversee P&L for your global verticals, with a clear growth vision;
• Partner closely with the local Heads of Retail in 15 Markets to bring your strategy to life with executional excellence;
• Thoughtfully manage a senior set of stakeholders across a Matrix-led organization;
• Advocate for JET at industry events with exceptional relationship-building skills;
• Collaborate with JET functions such as tech, marketing, operations, and logistics to enhance company capabilities, improving the shopping and selling experience within your vertical.
What will you bring to the table?
• Proven ability to secure enterprise deals and lead swift, hands-on implementation
• Extensive experience in new business sales at a global level
• Experience working directly for a major International Retailer is a plus;
• Commercially insightful with strong negotiation, persuasion skills, and the ability to craft compelling narratives;
• Experience in fostering positive relationships and managing stakeholders across different departments and at all levels within the organization;
• Data-informed, digs to the root cause, and uses relevant data to make decisions and provide insights.
