Global Captives Leader The Global Captive and Insurance Management Leader is responsible for leading the ACIM business and delivering budgeted financial results. The role sits on the Global Risk Consulting leadership team. This group focuses on ensuring that risk consulting is a strategy and differentiator at the centre of Aon's value proposition to clients, makes a growing contribution to profitable growth and accretive revenue for Aon, and operates as a global, inclusive, diverse, and highly engaged team.Aon is in the business of better decisions Aon must ensure those in senior roles, with the potential to cause significant harm to customers and the business of the firm, are deemed to be fit and proper at all times and ensure everyone working in the sector adheres to a set of Conduct Rules and are held to account where they do not meet the right standards of behaviour.What the day will look like With an emphasis on revenue growth and value proposition development/implementation, the role will prioritise working with the Commercial Risk Solutions Network, the ACIM Leadership Team and Practice Groups to identify and put in place an annual and medium-term growth strategy for our Captive and Insurance Management business globally.This includes:

  • Partnering with senior Regional Commercial Risk Leaders and Specialty Leaders to create and implement effective geographic growth plans.
  • Identifying, leading, and developing a global ACIM Leadership Team
  • Partnering with senior Commercial Risk and Specialty Leaders to create and implement effective growth plans, through a relevant, consistent, and well-understood value proposition
  • Driving and leading a talent agenda, overseeing the appointment of key leadership roles in the group, through effective talent acquisition and succession planning
  • Defining and leading an innovation agenda, around relevant captive solutions for emerging risks and unmet needs
  • Ensuring that the group meets all compliance requirements in the domiciles and has a clear and effective process for understanding, assessing and mitigating risk across ACIM
  • Managing senior management direct reports, ensuring their objectives are aligned with the overall ACIM strategy
  • Overseeing robust performance management, training and professional development, and a commitment to DE&I across the business
  • Acting as a role model of Aon's values and behaviours
  • Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in Captive Management and Risk Consulting
  • Experience of working at Executive Board level internationally, influencing and implementing change
  • Experience of running a Business P&L or proven understanding of delivering financial or business metrics; sales and retention strategies, delivering operational efficiencies through an effective ToM, and resource management and people leadership
  • Entrepreneurial and pragmatic, can make tough decisions, ensuring success in shaping and delivering strategic programmes.
  • Adaptable communication skills and style to appeal to all colleagues and leadership
  • Creative innovative thinker able to translate strategic concepts into solid business executable growth opportunities.
  • Strong understanding and experience of change management principles and approaches.
