Full Job Description

The Compliance Trainee is expected to assist the Global Compliance team with legal advice and support on a wide range of compliance topics such as Code of Conduct & Ethics, Anti Bribery & Corruption, Data Privacy and Sanctions & Export Controls. This will include drafting, reviewing and advising together with managing own matters under supervision. The Compliance Trainee must be organized with good attention to detail and must be able to deliver work in a timely and professional manner. The Compliance Trainee should also possess excellent communication, writing, and problem-solving skills and will be required to interface with various parts of the business at all levels Your Impact

  • You review compliance policies and agreements (including anti-bribery policies, data processing agreements, sanctions and anti-bribery wording in contracts) and the maintenance of compliance templates
  • You take research on compliance topics prepare advice notes and undertake searches on companies/individuals using the Compliance Search tool to ensure we are permitted to do business with them
  • You provide ad hoc advice on compliance matters in a timely manner and assist with the preparation of compliance training
  • You understand and apply the core requirements which govern the role and behaviour of a lawyer with a highly organized approach to work and the ability to work under pressure in a varied and fast-paced legal environment
  • You take over other duties as assigned by the AGCO Compliance team, You will work hybrid 2-3 days a week in our Stoneleigh, Warwickshire site purpose to team up with your wonderful AGCO colleagues.

  • University law degree or equivalent
  • Experience in compliance
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to deliver work in a timely and professional manner
  • Good legal analysis and communication skills
