Full Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with our control functions teams to ensure the right framework and resources for execution of each project and in place and ensuring system changes are thoroughly tested, client needs are met, and the organization is ready for process changes, as these products involve movement and/or review of physical documents which leads to increased manual effort and inefficiencies. As the prime mover of the projects including scoping, resource-planning, communications, project governance, risk management, and readiness, you will be required to connect the dots, build trust and understanding between groups, and orchestrate the activities needed to make the projects successful. The ideal candidate should have experience managing large, global projects that interweave multiple functional teams and/or multiple systems. What you'll do:

  • Identify booking needs across all core trade offerings and analyze current booking infrastructure and process constraints and gaps.
  • Identify forward-looking transformational improvement opportunities for Citi's booking capabilities using technology or process changes and standardization, ensuring that new/enhanced functionalities are developed and tested.
  • Future proof from a technology infrastructure standpoint, i.e. allows for service orchestration, provides flexibility and the ability to swap components out, and can be iterated to meet the needs of both clients and business users.
  • Communicate the technical requirements to the corresponding stakeholders in Technology and Operations; design future-state processes and translate those in cogent EPICs and functional requirements.
  • Develop new workflows, procedures and scope of work for creating future state functional changes, drive straight through and scalable processing, and enabling a full end to end digital experience.
  • Design and prepare dashboards/ scorecards / reports and monitor drivers of performance and productivity to ensure business objectives are met.

    Bachelor's degree and hands on experience in trade product management, trade operations or trade technology. Master's degree in management could be an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of process improvement and reengineering methodologies (Lean / Lean Six Sigma) gained across global projects, which incorporate regional and country-specific details.
  • Prior experience in working on business process orchestration tools like Appian, Camunda, Pega can be an advantage.
  • Experience of leading large multi-year technology transformation initiatives, especially focused on transformations and delivering superior client experience.
  • A self-motivated, goal-oriented, and analytical thinker with a proven ability to orchestrate and drive the successful & timely completion of goals and actions to achieve business objectives through excellent project management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in working with, and the ability to lead direct and indirect reports (or teams) with a track record of influencing and driving change through an organization.
  • This role should appeal to a technical minded project manager, who has the capacity to proactively anticipate, identify, and resolve problems working across different sets of data, and distil necessary information for decision making. You will need the ability to navigate through ambiguity to clarify objectives and execution plans as you partner with key stakeholders and senior management, where you will get to develop your interpersonal skills as a persuasive communicator.
