Global Director - Smart Buildings & IoT

We are looking for an experienced Smart Buildings Director to join our team in EMEA supporting our Global technology Client. What the role involves....

• Bringing intelligent and sustainable facilities to life.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in BMS/EPMS/DCIM/SCADA systems design, implementation, and operations
• Single point of contact for Global Building Operations System (BOS) and Internet of Things devices (IoT) programs
• Ensure global program alignment for Smart Building strategies
• Understand KPIs per region and drive optimal tracking and performance
• Build strong relationships and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Responsible and accountable for BOS IoT KPIs in each region
• Attend regional meeting with client stakeholders and executive sponsors
• Monthly progress reporting to internal and external leadership
• Point of escalation and ultimate decision maker for changes, or related to new devices and remediation projects.
• Ensure innovation, best practices, playbooks, and standards are implemented globally.
• Provide technical expertise on IoT devices, networks, suppliers, and associated processes.
• Document governance activities
• Ensure all regional agreements are actively in place with the correct headcount.
• Strengthen supplier base for IoT service agreements
• Increase skill and capability of team members to self perform
• Ensure vulnerability assessments are completed and remedied within a timely manner
• Stay informed with industry changes and advancements, connect with JLL-T and other platforms within JLL to leverage expertise and resources.
  
  Bachelor degree in a relevant field or qualified by experience
• 10 years of progressive experience with network systems, IoT, maintenance
• Experience with Integrated Facilities Maintenance and working for clients or equivalent
• 5 years of experience managing, building, consulting, or maintaining IoT devices
• Knowledge of building systems and how they complement or impact workplace experience
• Understanding of smart building technology convergence and low-voltage sub-system integration for IT and parallel OT network Infrastructure design
