The Ivanti Global Distribution and Reseller Program Manager will support the strategy, direction, implementation and ongoing support of the global Distribution and Value-Added Reseller ("VAR") partner programs and associated global channel-focused initiatives impacting the overall partner experience, profitability, and ease of doing business. Responsibilities will extend to associated strategy, management & operations, and ongoing execution of the global Distribution and Value-Added Reseller partner programs and initiatives supporting the overall needs and goals of the Ivanti tier 1 reseller and tier 2 partner ecosystem. In addition, the role will require being a presence, exuding confidence, and driving executive influence to build compelling business cases that will drive the Distribution and Reseller business forward. Finally, the successful candidate must be able to represent Ivanti in a compelling way in front of Distribution and Reseller executives to gather feedback, address concerns, and most importantly, demonstrate the ability to resolve the understood challenges. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, detailed & data oriented, & results-driven individual, with strong interpersonal skills who adapts well to a fast-paced environment and has a strong executive presence. Also, the candidate must have sales and operational experience in Distribution and VAR environments as well as understand the market conditions and value of the partner ecosystem. Finally, the candidate must work exceptionally well in a matrixed business environment and be able to not only create and define, but launch, execute, and operationalize all related programmatic elements. What You Will Be Doing Drive continuous improvement and alignment of the partner consulting services and technical support programs as well as maintain the day-to-day operational activities tied to the Ivanti Managed Services business for the Ivanti partner ecosystem. Prepare channel dashboards and pull data points for sales teams and channel leadership tied to Professional Services and MSP partner performance. Work with internal teams to improve end-to-end partner experience, operationalize program framework & sales processes, & roll out channel offers and incentives. Work in collaboration with the Partners, Field Channel Management and Marketing to support the roll out and channel adoption of programs and initiatives globally. Create, deliver, and maintain program content and collateral (presentations, program guides, bulletins, and communications) by leveraging internal resources. Work with cross-functional teams to improve partner program processes and resolve partner program issues. Manage, track and report specific program initiatives. Develop a working understanding of the Ivanti partner policies, processes, and systems (PRM, Salesforce, etc). Capture, analyze and report on partner program operational KPIs/metrics. Ability to present partner program overview to new partners, field sellers and assist in onboarding new partners; work with cross functional team members to review partner experience across Partner Journey (recruitment, on-boarding, and ramp to revenue process) to drive strong partner loyalty. Keep current on competitive programs and industry trends. Will report directly into the Vice President, Global Partner Programs & Strategy.
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 10-15 years of channel sales, programs and operations experience. MBA is a plus.
- Channel sales experience to understand the urgency of sales teams and how to process orders.
- Strong Channel Programs experience and understanding of partner incentives, related marketing, and enablement elements that drive partner behaviors to provide optimal partner experiences.
- Strong Channel Operations experience or similar sales operations experience / skills
- Strong business acumen & Executive Presence
- Experience with channel programs and tools
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively under pressure, managing several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a global team environment.
- Demonstrated negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills. Basic understanding of key technologies and markets, competitive forces, and trends.
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal/customer relations skills
- Strong sense of initiative and detail for channel operations and programs
- Ability to assess complex situations and provide solutions for operational efficiency and improving partner experience.
- Channel experience at a fast-paced company is a real plus.
