Full Job Description

The Global Head of Deals Desk & Commercialization will manage a team providing guidance to the Sales organization in the development of proposals and quotes for existing and prospective customers to ensure that Emarsys can win strategic deals, increase market share and grow the revenue stream. Comply with operational procedures for sales, delivery, financial and legal requirements. Be the expert with Emarsys sales internal tools, resources and processes specifically related to Bill of Material, pricing, proposals, contracts and bookings. Increase deal velocity and improve the engagement model with sales reps, sales leadership, and other stakeholders. Act as the subject matter expert on adherence to approval policy, deal-design of special pricing requirements, troubleshooting pricing related deal issues, and sales escalations. Work with Sales and supporting functions to provide pricing and deal structure guidance and recommendations requiring a balance of a data-driven skillsets with creative and out of the box thinking.,

  • Responsible for managing Deal Desk operations, overseeing all paperwork for New Business, Uplifts, Cross-sells, Partnerships, and Services.
  • Craft proposals aligned with business requirements and analyzed data.
  • Identify unique contractual terms by analyzing various agreements and commercial documents.
  • Analyze billing reports and customer data to identify renewal scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Legal to ensure compliance with Master Service Agreements and GDPR requirements.
  • Proactively mitigate risks and ensure data consistency.
  • Utilize lessons learned to enhance sales and renewal processes.
  • Maintain high standards of contract creation quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Optimize processes and tools based on data analysis and KPIs.
  • Expertise in interpreting and addressing pricing, policy, and commercial term objections.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Pricing, supporting CRO and Solution Pricing Team. Provide training and support to sales teams and internal departments.

    The successful candidate will utilize strong analysis and problem-solving skills & have a proven track record with running SaaS pricing and Deal Desk operations., Finance & Accounting degree preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in SaaS Deal Desk or Commercial Operations.
  • Proficiency in SaaS pricing and metrics.
  • Previous experience in people management.
