Full Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Our ambition is to transform the Marketing and Communication (M&C) function - making it a truly metric driven
function that enhances BCG's performance. As a critical member of the Global M&C Team, you will work with
the Global M&C Transformation team to primarily enable change for major initiatives critical to enabling our
strategic agenda.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Design change enablement and socialization plans for key transformation initiatives, in close collaboration with colleagues of the Transformation team

  • Oversee execution of change enablement and socialization plans within M&C departments, to ensure the desired transformation and outcomes are achieved

  • Structure change tracking mechanism (both analytical and survey-based) to track progresses of Transformation programs as change enablement plans roll out and to assess effectiveness and efficiency of our Transformation efforts

  • Oversee M&C-wide operations program to advance our strategic agenda in collaboration with our HR and Finance Business Partners

  • As needed, drive or contribute to the setup and design phases of Transformation projects across a variety of topics within the Marketing domain

  • Organize, facilitate, and document next steps across project meetings, proactively identify dependencies & resolve issues between teams

  • Present analyses and findings to key stakeholders, including Leads of the M&C function, M&C leadership, and BCG (Boston Consulting Group) leadership

  • Planning structured change management plans and keeping close track of progresses across multiple parallel streams

  • Proactively identifying, prioritizing, analysing, and solving problems

  • Proactively pushing the pace of change

  • Flexibly shifting focus between operationally enabling change and strategically design transformation initiatives, to adjust to evolving priorities in the M&C Function

  • Balancing assertiveness and empathy to influence senior stakeholders across a variety of backgrounds

  • Building strong interpersonal relationships and coordinating across a matrixed organization

  • Written and verbal communication; thinking in a structured manner, presenting insights to tell a story

  • Running complex data analyses, interpreting data through a business and marketing lens

  • Iteratively changing designs, KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) and plans based on an ever-evolving context

  • Proactive attitude, able to inspire positive collaboration among team members and stakeholders


  • YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Previous consulting experience strongly preferred

  • Experience in designing and driving change management plans, related internal communications, and nudges

  • Experience interfacing with C-level stakeholders and their direct reporting lines

  • Mastery in MS PowerPoint, strong slide writing and story lining skills

  • Experience of MS Excel, structuring and evolving complex excel models

  • Hands-on experience with collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Trello, Slack) and project management

  • Demonstrated experience using analytical skills to generate insights from data

  • Comfort in dealing with a dynamic and uncertain context, requiring high standard of delivery if a fast-paced and ever-evolving context


  • At a minimum, you will have:
  • Bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred

  • 2-3 years of full-time experience in strategy consulting/professional/business service


  • YOU'LL WORK WITH

    Global M&C Transformation Senior Director/Director, BCG's Head of Global Marketing, Chief Marketing Officer,
    Chief Communications Officer, Marketing Leadership Team, and the Functional teams within M&C (e.g., Finance
    and HR Business Partners and other parts of BCG, including the Practice Areas, the Regions, and other
    Functions).
