Full Job Description

The Global O2C Transformation, Location Strategy & Finance Lead is accountable for driving the development and implementation of the overall strategic direction for O2C globally ensuring alignment with Carriers strategic priorities. The incumbent must have excellent interpersonal capabilities be a change agent, drive change and lead multiple initiatives that have completing priorities and due dates. As the Global O2C Transformation, Location Strategy & Lead you will build strong relations with the core process leads and key business stakeholders and are required to partner with multiple areas across the business including sales, finance, supply chain and customer service. Responsibilities:

  • Thought leader and driver of transformation (technology, process and people) within the global order to cash domain
  • Develop and implement the overall strategic direction of O2C, aligning it with the long-term goals and objectives and deliver efficiencies and effectiveness (value)
  • Provide strategic guidance on optimizing Order to Cash processes, leveraging industry knowledge and best-in-class methodologies.
  • Determine best-in-class organization/Target operating model including identification of optimum locations and outsourcing strategy to meet Carrier's business needs and strategic direction.
  • Lead and oversee end-to-end Order to Cash transformation initiatives for Carrier, ensuring the alignment of processes with industry best practices and Carrier's objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their business needs, and delivering tailored solutions to drive finance transformation.
  • Leverage data and insights to deliver business insights.
  • Mentor the wider order to cash team, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Manage the successful delivery of finance transformation projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues.
  • Accountable for the monitoring and delivery of the global O2C budget

    Bachelor's degree in area of accounting, finance, or general management
  • 10 years of experience in finance
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience with Finance Transformation, with focus on Order to Cash processes.
  • Ability to work in a global, virtual, and matrixed environment including global SSC/GBS environment.
  • Track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale finance transformation projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of Order to Cash processes, including credit management, invoicing, collections, and cash application.
  • Understanding of finance systems, ERP solutions, and emerging technologies in the finance space.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at various organisational levels.
  • Strong change management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting abilities.
