Full Job Description

You will be supported by the Pre-Registration Supervisor and the Global Patient Services team, and will be responsible for the accurate collection of outstanding demographic and financial information, with a particular focus on Cleveland Clinic London's international patients. You will be an excellent communicator and adaptable team player who will also provide cost estimates to self-pay patients. You will contribute to the delivery of an excellent patient experience, ensuring as much registration information as possible is obtained and verified in advance of the patient visit.

What will your duties include?

  • Accurately and efficiently process all outstanding demographic and financial information for outpatients, day cases and inpatients

  • Monitor the Pre-Registration work queues, ensuring patients are prioritised in date order and that any urgent cases are actioned promptly

  • Ensure all outstanding patients are contacted and the appropriate documentation is sent in

  • accordance with the patient's communication preferences

  • Liaise with Embassies to ensure relevant Letters of Guarantee are in place in accordance with CCL policies

  • Liaise with insurance providers and other third party payers in order to complete verification of information provided and resolve any payment or guarantor issues

  • Provide self-pay estimates and quotations and collect payments due prior to patient visit

  • Promote and encourage sign up to the CCL MyChart App to enable patients to manage their own healthcare information

  • Other Duties as assigned

    Relevant experience in a private healthcare setting (essential)

  • Experience of working alongside Embassies (desirable)

  • Working knowledge of patient financial requirements including insurance authorisations and the provision of cost estimates (desirable)

  • Working knowledge of Healthcode (desirable)

  • A good knowledge of the Arabic language, both written and spoken (desirable)

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc (essential)

  • Customer Service Experience (essential)
