Full Job Description

To define and implement product portfolio strategy. Responsible for the market success, growth and profitability of the defined products / product families Management of the products and/or applications during the product life cycle Support to achieve the business goals through the development of the product / product family strategy and its implementation Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Definition and realization of portfolio strategy
  • Management of product range and associated accessories as required
  • Develop product line PMB (Product Management Board) roadmap
  • Pre project kick off presentations to sponsor/control boards
  • Define customer requirement specification ( CRS) for new products
  • PM lead in product development projects incl. customer visits and customer process management (CPM)
  • Manage product launch and phase out - Full lifecycle management
  • Control of new release to market within SAP in association with PM assistant
  • Execute product training
  • Monitor product market performance
  • Provide competitive intelligence for product line
  • Specify product related communication / sales marketing requirements.
  • Support global markets with technical, commercial and strategic support as well as customer/regional visits
  • Manage product content within D-World portal alongside with PM assistant
  • Create content for circular letters for distribution by PM assistant
  • Attend other regular global function reviews eg. GFE teams, warranty returns meeting

  • Team of 10 people including department head, two assistants and seven product managers.

    Degree educated in a Marketing or Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • Related Experience
  • Experience within a similar role
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing industry e.g. Aerospace, automotive, medical etc. preferably within a global matrix organisation
  • Experience of working with a diverse product portfolio
