Full Job Description

As the Global Real Estate & Workplace Experience Strategy Programme Lead, you will leverage your in-depth understanding of global Real Estate and Workplace Experience to develop and implement a comprehensive global RE/WE strategy programme. You will oversee and manage all major projects, activities, and initiatives that drive RE/WE transformation.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring programme alignment with Astellas' key milestones such as Budgeting, Objective Planning, and End-of-Year Reviews, while incorporating financial performance, Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) compliance, and adherence to relevant standards and legislation. Collaboration is key, and as such, the ability to build strong relationships with Astellas stakeholders at all levels to ensure timely decision making to address risks and promote regular, timely stakeholder communications is essential. There will also be a requirement to analyse data and develop business cases and programme updates for senior stakeholders.

  • Be accountable for developing the programme of all RE/WE key transformation initiatives and projects in support of Astellas strategic objectives that supports the growth of the business & drives consistency and standardisation across all programmes, projects & activitiesWorking in collaboration with RE/WE leaders, you will provide oversight and management across all major projects, activities, and initiatives that drive RE/WE transformation ensuring RE/WE transformation programme stays on plan.

  • Facilitate the prioritization of major projects across the 2-5 year global plan, reporting on overall performance, global capital expenditure, and planned expenditure.

  • Supports the change management programme, ensuring successful RE/WE transformation.

  • Responsible for creating a global programme and major project reporting tool/dashboard to support the tracking of major projects.

  • Align major projects with Astellas' strategic priorities by leading the alignment of the portfolio and functions with global CoE strategies, ensuring all major projects deliver value and comply with Astellas policies and standards.

    Extensive experience in Project/Program management and/or transformation experience in relation to major real estate and workplace projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to align major projects with strategic priorities, manage complex global portfolios, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and standards.

  • Ability to influence and engage senior management and stakeholders across multiple functions and business units.

  • Experience leading or supporting change initiatives within RE/WE transformation, ensuring smooth transitions and successful adoption.

  • Fluent in written and verbal business English.

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
