Full Job Description

Global Security protects the firm's employees and assets throughout the world. Global Security responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security guard management and alarm response, physical security operations, crisis management, corporate building security and customer/visitor/client safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, life safety, executive protection, and pre-employment screening.

This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader with exceptional communication and people management skills who can effectively work under pressure and handle difficult circumstances. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, assets, facilities, and all regional corporate events and additionally, own and maintain the Global Security relationship with the International Consumer Bank in EMEA.,

  • Lead and manage multiple security teams across various locations in the UK & develop and implement strategic security plans and policies

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for security team members

  • Ensure all security operations comply with internal policies and standards, local laws and regulations

  • Oversee the implementation of all physical security operations across multiple location & build and maintain an ongoing liaison and partnership with local law enforcement and emergency services, coordinate as necessary

  • Conduct regular risk and site security assessments & develop and implement risk mitigation strategies whilst managing crisis situations and emergency responses effectively.

  • Working effectively with the second and third lines of defense to support audits, exams, and other reviews, and to address risk and control issues

  • Ownership of security planning and execution for all regional corporate internal and external events

  • Coordinate and oversee team efforts with event planners and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive security coverage & develop and implement event-specific security protocols and contingency plans

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for security-related matters & maintain clear and effective communication to Senior Global Security Management and to all stakeholders, including senior business leaders, employees, and external partners

  • You will own budget Management; developing and managing the security department budget & ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and manage procurement of services., Our professionals in our Corporate Functions cover a diverse range of areas from finance and risk to human resources and marketing.   • The Global Security (GS) team protects the firm's people and assets, ensuring the safety of business operations through the implementation of technology, best-in-class talent and client collaboration. Teams are responsible for developing safety policies and procedures, customer safety, pre-employment screening, fraud investigations and security operations on a global basis.

  • Extensive experience in security and/or law enforcement management, with experience in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple teams and events security

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Proven track record of effectively managing and developing large teams. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.

  • Experience in managing and coordinating emergency response operations and crisis management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capable of making sound decisions under pressure.

  • Familiarity with modern security systems and surveillance technologies.

  • Thorough understanding of UK security regulations and industry best practices.

  • Experience in planning and securing large-scale corporate events.

  • Willingness to travel as required and be available for emergency situations outside of regular working hours.

  • Strong people leadership presence who coaches, motivates, inspires confidence, and helps colleagues to develop and be successful.
