Full Job Description

The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of tasks to include the following:

  • Participate in various global employee relations projects and activities

  • Support and guide global leaders on employee relations matters.

  • Provide coaching to leaders support the employee experience to increase confidence and competence.

  • Advise on processes in accordance with Labcorp policies and appropriate regulatory guidelines according to jurisdiction.

  • Partner with team members from other centres of excellence, such as the global HR Partner team.

  • Provide information to ensure compliance within appropriate jurisdictions and local requirements.

  • Assist with coordination and delivery of training for managers by working with the Global ER Learning and Development lead.

  • Supply additional intelligence for business units and country to ensure proactive ER activities.

    Degree educated with professional qualification desirable.

  • HR Subject Matter Expertise within Employee Relations and experience across HR disciplines.

  • Minimum 5 years employee relations experience.


  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Specialist legal or employment law qualifications.


  • Skills and Competencies:
  • HR experience and interest in employee relations.

  • Experience of working in a global, matrix organisation.

  • Employee Relations experience in more than one country.

  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws.

  • Desire and interest to learn additional employment laws and practices globally.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Strong investigation skills.

  • Ability to summarize information succinctly both verbally and in writing.

  • Flexibility and willingness to deal with competing priorities.

  • Strong customer service focus and organizational skills.

  • Willingness to assist others and adapt to focusing on where workload is high.

  • Good prioritization skills and ability to focus on time-sensitive issues.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience, tact, and respect.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to operate in a global team and flow to the work.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to look at a process with a view to continuous improvement.

  • German/French - desirable, not essential


  • Working Conditions:
  • Ability to support various time zones over a flexible work pattern (whilst complying with working time provisions for the country where the successful candidate resides)

  • Dependent on location of successful applicant, this may be office or hybrid.

  • Minimal travel (5-10%) may be required locally or internationally.
