Global Tax Accountant

We are looking for a passionate, (part-)qualified Group Tax Accountant to focus on direct tax compliance and reporting at Argus Media. You will be joining a team of six, and reporting into the Head of Tax. In this role you will have responsibility for working with external advisors to prepare, review and submit timely corporate income tax returns in the multiple jurisdictions in which Argus has presence. You will also be responsible for ensuring the preparation of the tax provision required for year-end statutory reporting purposes.,

• Work with external advisors to prepare the corporate income tax returns in the UK, US, Singapore and other overseas jurisdictions.


• Prepare the consolidated tax provisions and current and deferred tax disclosures required for the annual statutory audit reporting purposes.


• Work with the global Finance team to calculate accurate tax provisions and manage tax balances in the ERP (NetSuite) required for monthly management and external bank reporting.


• Work with the Group Treasury Manager to manage payment on account requirements.


• Work closely with the finance team and tax team to increase efficiency and accuracy of existing tax reporting processes.


• Support the Head of Tax with ad-hoc projects as required.
  
  Holds or is studying towards a Chartered Accountancy qualification.


• Excellent understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS required.


• Top tier professional services background desirable.


• Highly motivated, hardworking, able to work in a fast-paced environment for an organization that has a matrix reporting structure.


• Experienced in identifying enhancements and process improvements.


• Partners well with people at all levels within the organization.


• Previous experience with NetSuite ERP helpful.
