Full Job Description

The Global Technical Sales Manager for Practice Management Software as part of the Enterprise Solutions Team is responsible for comprehensive technical concepts in the area of cloud-based Practice Management Software and value-adding software services for different customer segments of the Straumann group.

Responsibilities extend from creating a solid technical concept and delivering on deployment and security requirements of the customer to contributing to the sales process of larger global software projects.

Together with development partners, Straumann group's global practice management software team and the local organizations, she / he takes an active role in establishing scalable end-to-end software delivery, implementation and roll-out.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a framework to elaborate comprehensive technical concepts and integration requirements while adhering to enterprise security standards for practice management software and business intelligence-related software solutions in the dental industry.

  • Provide technical support in the sales and requirement qualification process for Straumann Group regional and country organizations, in particular for larger IT software projects including more than 15 practices.

  • Coordinate relevant project partners on customer and Straumann Group as well as software partner side to ensure that technical concept is realized during implementation phase.

  • Participate in global external marketing and sales activities such as the creation of reference projects, customer visits and artifact and collateral creation., In compliance with U.S. Department of Labor Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Section 4212 of the Vietnam Era Readjustment Assistance Act, Straumann Group has developed and maintains an affirmative action program and plan.

    Master's or University degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

  • Experience in technical, cloud-based software sales, development of security concepts and IT integration requirements for medical or dental industry in an enterprise setting.

  • Experience with mapping out and executing complex end-to-end software implementation projects.

  • Experience in practice operations, workflow management and data-based business intelligence highly preferred.

  • General knowledge about healthcare standards like IHE, DICOM, HL7, FHIR as well as cloud- and SaaS-related institutional requirements.

  • Strong quality awareness and commitment in achieving daily actions.

  • Experienced in working in a matrix organization and working in a global set up.

  • Strong service skills and customer focus.

  • Strong capabilities in English (speaking and writing), further languages a plus.
