Goods Receiver

Ensure smooth receipt of all deliveries into the site whilst checking correct quality and quantity

• Receive and sort goods by department, mark them appropriately for placement, and deliver goods to the appropriate location.
• Prepare internal transfer deliveries which will be distributed to our sites
• Organise received goods onto pallets or carts
• Inspect deliveries to confirm the produce's freshness, quality, and consistency.
• Organise the return of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect goods
• Observe correct stock-receiving practises
• Maintain the cleanliness of the CPU including managing the stock room
• Ensure all inventory and stock management systems are maintained accurately and on time
• Daily stock reporting
• Ability to maintain a strong working relationship with suppliers and team members
  
  Able to commute to our CPU
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Readiness to walk & stand for long periods
• Capable of working with large volume of ingredients, including lifting / carrying
• Follow the company policies for grooming & uniform standards
• Professional appearance
• Comfortable wearing PPE at work
