Full Job Description
Thank you for your interest in working at West Lea School. We're looking for a dynamic and experienced senior administrator to support the school's governing board and executive team. It's a new and exciting role as we continue to expand. The role is perfectly suited to someone who is passionate about bringing the vision of West Lea to life and who thrives in a busy role.
You will have experience of working in a similar environment, be gifted at getting things done, and be an effective communicator.
Reporting to the people and culture manager, you'll provide an excellent admin service to West Lea School's governing board, the West Lea executive team and the Enterprise Cooperative Trust (ECT).
You will also work closely with the ECT's trustees and partners, including the chair of the ECT representative council.
As a community of 220 employees serving nearly 450 learners aged 4-25 with special educational needs and disabilities across 4 campuses and several sites, we're seeking someone who is culturally aligned, who shares our values and is happy to contribute to the wider life of our happy and successful school.
West Lea is all about innovation, and as such, we are constantly evolving. The only true way to see what we can offer is by coming to see us and discovering why we believe you should make 'our' school, 'your' school. We want to provide you with all the information you need to decide whether the role and our school setting are right for you. We welcome questions and would love to show you around.
West Lea School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be subject to a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure and checks regarding proof of ID, medical clearance and the right to work in the UK. The postholder may be required to work at any West Lea School site.
