Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their career in governance and compliance, to work in a senior role reporting directly to the Finance Director. This role would suit someone driven by working in an organisation with a very clear purpose, which is to build high-quality, affordable homes that support sustainable rural communities. You will provide advice and support to the Executive Team and the Group's Boards and Committees and lead a small team that is responsible for governance, regulatory and legal compliance, data protection, insurance and risk management.
We are looking for a qualified company secretary/solicitor; or you may have equivalent experience with a degree level qualification. You will have previously worked in a regulated environment. We also want to hear about your:
- Understanding of company constitutions and group governance arrangements
- Ability to work on a broad array of matters, in a role where no two days are the same
- A working knowledge of data protection legislation and good practice
- Excellent stakeholder management at all levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
