Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to support the maintenance and growth of the London Market Underwriting Standards and Governance team.,

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management and monitoring of assigned tasks including but not limited to:
  • + Monitoring regulatory tasks and escalating issues of non-adherence + Coordinating and assisting with annual divisional file reviews + Issuing letters of underwriting authority + Overseeing annual reviews of underwriting policies and procedure manuals + Assisting in the production of MI + Tracking / Following up on actions from reviews and governance meetings + Provide support on other projects / initiatives as assigned.

  • Knowledge or experience of working in an insurance regulatory environment
  • Quality control experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Good attention to detail;
  • An inquisitive mind and a proven problem-solver;
  • An ability to adapt and work on a range of different tasks
  • The ability to work well independently, a motivated self-starter
  • experience of working with Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
  • Nice to haves
  • experience of handling sanction queries
