Our 'Sandwell Deal', brings together our new improved offering that make Sandwell Children's Trust a great place to work; it also sets out our expectations of you as a member of staff., Governance Services is a fast-paced area of work and you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective execution of decisions taken by the Board and its supporting committees. You will be required to attend and support a full spectrum of meetings across the Trust and the wider partnership to include Boards, committees and working groups. You will produce concise, accurate and timely minutes to a high standard. You will provide advice on procedures and governance arrangements. You will help ensure that meetings are successfully co-ordinated, and their decisions clearly recorded. You will play a critical role working on high-profile service specific projects. You will be expected to make a real impact through your personal contribution, both within the Trust and to children, young people and their families across Sandwell. It is essential you have, experience of interacting at all levels across a range of organisations alongside considerable

committee/meeting administration/corporate governance experience, You must be a team player willing to provide a comprehensive support service, dealing with competing priorities and used to working under pressure to tight deadlines.   • Educated to diploma standard or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a relevant service area.
  • Experience of negotiating and consulting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work with changing and conflicting demands.
  • You need to have excellent IT skills with experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
