Full Job Description

We are looking for a Government Partner and Customer (GPC) Program Lead (f/m/d) to join our global team to manage a large IT implementation program for a customer in public sector. This position is part of the new GPC Office in within the Sovereign Services & Delivery Organization (SS&D) that combines all Sovereign Cloud deliveries at SAP.

  • Build and manage an IT implementation program for a large customer in government and public sector
  • Consolidate and track all external facing efforts of SAP regarding this large customer in post-sales during the stage of delivery
  • Multi-level stakeholder management within SAP to structure and strengthen alignment regarding enabling one voice messaging to the customer
  • Manage alignment between all SAP internal stakeholders and respective project management activities
  • Proactive screening for escalation for interactions or delivery items with escalation potential and working on solutions to prevent actual customer escalation
  • Provision of internal briefings, presentations, and publications on the large customer delivery account comprising status on customer's complex SAP landscape
  • Identification of indirect customer feedback as well as intake of direct requests during the delivery phase and translation into corporate actions at SAP
  • Identification of customer needs that are not covered by existing scope of delivery and seamless collaboration with account teams
  • Provide regular reporting updates to SAP's Head of GPC Office on large customer delivery account
  • Improvement of large customer delivery program management through alignment with peer program managers at SAP SS&D GPC office.

    Master's degree or equivalent
  • 15+ years of professional experience
  • Experience in customer program management is a must
  • Experience with government or public sector as customer is a plus
  • Experience in IT implementation or delivery program is a must, experience with SAP products is an advantage
  • Ability to analyze complex regulatory government security environments and their impact on SAP and on its customers
  • Ability to manage multilevel stakeholders and streamline communications
  • Excellent communication and liaison skills.
