GP Practice Nurse

All applicants must be fully qualified Nurses and registered with the NMC. Experience as a Practice Nurse is desirable but not essential.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to undertake the following duties (training will be provided if there are any learning gaps) INR monitoring, cervical screening, spirometry, chronic disease monitoring (including diabetes, COPD & asthma), vaccinations, phlebotomy, NHS Health checks, complex dressings, ear syringing, ECGs and removal of sutures.

We cater for 14,000 patients and are located in a modern, purpose built Health Centre with an onsite pharmacy. We are a training practice and often have GP Registrars, student nurses and other allied health professionals on site working with us.
