DWP is looking to fill various roles within our Service Delivery Optimisation Directorate, and our Deployment & Change Management Directorate. Here are some of the roles:- + Planning and Performance Lead + Head of Centre of Excellence + Head of Service Assurance and Response + Head of Operational Response + Operating Hours and Workforce Scheduling Project + Change Delivery Manager, Be an active member of your Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the wider Departmental agendas and providing visible, accessible and effective senior leadership, taking a personal lead in communicating messages with clarity and conviction. Create and sustain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, including Directors and key delivery partners/stakeholders, to develop stronger working across DWP to create powerful, purposeful partnerships. Be a resourceful, self-starting leader with experience of delivering in a fast-paced environment and leading high profile work strands that deliver high levels of performance and customer service. Be responsible for personally delivering large, complex or business/policy sensitive changes or operational performance reporting and be accountable for the delivery and quality of activity in your area. In your membership of Senior Leadership Teams, role model exceptional leadership, working flexibly across boundaries, building capability in line with Professional Standards and undertaking regular activity to build and sustain engagement. In the event of a large number of applications we will use the Lead Criteria set out in the Person Specification to initially assess your application during the Sift stage. Candidates who pass the initial Sift may be progressed to a full Sift or direct to interview. Interview Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview. This will be a video interview. Sift and interview dates to be confirmed. The interview panel will be a minimum of two people. The interview will assess a 5-minute presentation, Behaviours, and Strengths. The interview aims to be more of a conversation exploring the candidate’s capability for the role. To help you prepare and settle into the interview you will be sent the presentation scope and Behaviour questions in advance of the interview, up to 5 days prior to your interview. These questions should be treated as confidential. Candidates will be asked further probing questions to determine suitability for the role. A reserve list will be held for up to 3 months, which we may also use to fill future similar vacancies.
