Full Job Description

We're hiring for associates with language skills to service our 3 different client types, check out each of them below…

Consulting Clients
Our Consulting clients work on behalf of large companies (e.g. Fortune 500's) or institutional investors and support them by doing deep dive research to provide guidance on their corporate strategy or investment decisions. The insights they get through our experts and content are the backbone of the recommendations they deliver to their clients.

As an Associate in our Consulting business, you'll have opportunities to work with the top management consulting firms in the world. They will trust in you for access to the most relevant experts, which you are responsible for identifying and recommending to them throughout their project lifecycles. To be successful here, you'll need to enjoy a fast-paced environment, have strong team-working skills, be competitive and resilient.

Private Equity Clients

Our Private Equity clients invest in companies with the intention of increasing the value of their stake down the line. The insights they get through our experts and content become the basis of their decision to invest in opportunities, or to pass on them.

As an Associate you'll have opportunities to work with the sharpest minds in Private Equity funds. They will rely on you for access to the most relevant experts and content, which you are responsible for identifying and recommending to them throughout their investment lifecycles. To be successful here, you'll need to be able to showcase good commercial acumen, be a natural salesperson and excited about developing business with new investor clients.

Credit & Public Equity Clients

We support Credit and Public Equity clients in identifying key industry drivers and company-related issues that can be overlooked by conventional research. Our coverage provides clients with access to specialists who have the specific knowledge required for making informed investment decisions.

To be successful here, you'll need to enjoy a fast-paced and target-driven environment, have strong communication skills that are easily adaptable to different audiences and have strong team-working skills. An interest in financial markets and the environment that our Public Equity & Credit clients operate in is essential. Keeping up with their direction of research, which may require continual and frequent projects.

The hats you will wear:

  • Salesperson: listen to your clients and tailor our offering in a way that best suits their unique needs. Use your negotiation and persuasion skills to create value for our specialists. In practice: you will pitch our entire suite of products (content and expert calls) to investors in your book of business, and you will convince experts (from CEOs to technical experts) to speak to your clients about their industry.

  • Business driver and developer: understand the drivers of profitable revenue and find your path to grow it. Work with your team to execute strategies for the accounts you are responsible for. In practice: this could mean calling investors who have never used our services to build relationships and get business from them.

  • Problem solver: A client can challenge you with any company name and questions: you'll break down an industry within minutes, suggest who they should speak with and what they should read. In practice: you will search for relevant content and vet experts to support your clients at each stage of their research. You will not give them investment advice.

  • Learner: apply the knowledge and skills you acquire on the job to improve your productivity and find innovative ways to continue advancing our business model. In practice: when a process gets in the way of your speed, you propose an alternate solution and speak with the right people to implement it.

  • Player & coach: We operate as one team, both within your individual team and within the business at large. One day, you will be leading the charge, and another you'll be supporting your peers. In practice: you will be asked to train and develop the people around you, both on your team and those you're working with on client requests. You will also receive lots of hands-on training and coaching yourself. We are a feedback-centric culture, and value effective communication.

  • Research partner: Throughout their research, clients rely on us to think as an extension of their team. In practice: there will be times where we need to think outside the box and offer solutions that bridges their knowledge gaps, quickly. You'll also need occasionally to go above and beyond to ensure a smooth partnership with your clients.
