Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a Graduate Buyer to join our Procurement team based in Leeds!

What you'll be responsible for:

This is a graduate, entry-level role with the overall aim of developing your career as a Buyer with Quorn Foods.

You will support the ingredients procurement team, taking individual responsibility for a selected range of food ingredients to meet the businesses manufacturing requirements. Collaborating with external suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure we can offer the best products at the best possible prices, taking into account variables such as; cost, quality, safety, innovation and service.

If you can demonstrate a curious and proactive nature with a keen eye of commercials, we will provide dedicated on-the-job training and a development programme which encourages you to study and ultimately obtain membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).

The position will be based from our Leeds office circa 2-3 days per week along with the opportunity to work flexibly/remotely when required. Travel to other Quorn manufacturing sites and external suppliers will also be required.

Hold an Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject

- Demonstrable passion for developing a career within procurement and the FMCG industry

- Exhibit commercial awareness with interest in food ingredients

- Excellent data analysis skills, along with being highly numerate

- Present a curious and inquisitive nature along with excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Hold a full clean drivers license with ability to travel to external supplier and Quorn manufacturing sites
