Full Job Description

a team to progress the goals of the R&D team and wider business. · Collaborate effectively with engineering colleagues to support technology scale-up. · Assist in producing high quality risk assessments, COSHH assessments and SOPs. · Manage project timelines in accordance laboratory work using the relevant company project management systems. · Assist in laboratory upkeep: health and safety, house keeping, lab consumable management etc. Essential Criteria: · At least a BSc in Chemistry or related subject. · Competent theoretical and practical skills regarding design and implementation of experiments. · Technically creative and a rigorous approach to problem solving. · Ability to record detailed experimental notes in lab books and analyse own data to reach conclusions. · Strong communicator with excellent written and oral presentation skills. · Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a willingness to collaborate with others. · A hands on, practical approach to conducting

laboratory experiments, Desirable: · MSc/MPhil qualification in chemistry or relevant natural science. · Practical/R&D experience of handling, synthesis and characterisation of polymers. · Experience of designing and implementing bespoke laboratory tests and equipment.
