Full Job Description

The role will provide you with opportunities to train, grow and progress in a direction that suits your own particular skillset and interests. You will work on live projects with the support of a large multidisciplinary design team.  What you’ll do:Â

  • Prepare and outline detailed civil engineering designs and calculations.Â
  • Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedulesÂ
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the construction team to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the design stages, into construction and beyond.Â
  • Prepare of documents, reports and health and safety risk assessmentsÂ
  • You will positively engage with the Client, managing relationships and adopting a One-Team approachÂ, Internal Development Scheme to support and guide you through your journey to becoming a Chartered Engineer with the ICE. Â
  • You will be automatically enrolled into our bespoke Early Careers Development Programme; a 12-month scheme designed to enhance your skills, expand your network, and enrich your experience.Â

    Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc) Â
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.Â
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writingÂ
  • Methodical approach to problem solvingÂ
