Graduate Design Engineer

We're looking for a Graduate Design Engineer to join our Transportation team based in Maple Cross, Hertfordshire., As a Graduate Design Engineer, you'll be you will support the design and development of engineering solutions across a range of projects. You will be responsible for assisting in the creation of detailed designs, ensuring they meet technical specifications, project requirements, and industry standards. Your day to day will include:

• Assist in the development of detailed designs and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure designs meet client specifications and project requirements.
• Conduct research and gather data to support the design and development process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Participate in design reviews, offering input on technical issues and improvements.
• Assist in the preparation of design documentation, reports, and technical specifications.

What are we looking for? We're looking for people due to graduate in 2025, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field. The role of Graduate Design Engineer is great for you if:
• Are proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) and familiarity with design tools.
• Have a good understanding of engineering principles, materials, and design methodologies.
• Hold strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to perform calculations and simulations.
