Full Job Description

As a Graduate Design Manager, you will assist in coordinating and managing the design aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. Ensuring drawings and designs are produced on time and easy to decipher. Overseeing the design process using technical expertise. This role is ideal for a recent graduate eager to start a career in construction design management, offering hands-on experience, mentorship from seasoned professionals, and opportunities for professional growth. Your day to day will include:

  • Assisting in the coordination and management of the design process for construction projects.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure design specifications are met.
  • Reviewing and analysing project drawings, plans, and specifications for accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Supporting the development of design solutions that align with project objectives, budget, and timeline.
  • Monitoring design progress and adjusting as necessary to meet project goals.

  • What are we looking for? We're looking for people due to graduate in 2025, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. The role of Graduate Design Manager is great for you if:

  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Must hold Full UK Driving License
