Graduate Energy Engineer (Intern)

Job Title: Graduate Energy Engineer (Intern) Location: London (Hackney Wick) Hours: Full-time Duration: Three months Salary: Minimum wage Start Date: October 2024 Job Summary: We are looking for a Graduate Energy Engineer Interns to join our team in London for a three-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a proven knowledge of renewable energy systems, excellent analytic skills, and a keen interest in developing renewable energy infrastructure. This intern will learn and apply their skills to support project development activities. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Director of Projects and be a part of the London team working on development opportunities in Australia, UK and the US. Tasks may include:

• Supporting the development techno-economic models related to renewable energy systems. Evaluating solar development opportunities using industry tools for mapping, yield analysis, transmission evaluation, and environmental assessment. Use research findings
  
  and data to create presentations for internal use and for education on our company website. Assist the preparation of technical data rooms. Support project administration procedures including RFIs, minutes, issues logs, project programmes. Carry out ad hoc tasks. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering with specific renewable energy bias. Proven academic knowledge of renewable energy systems. Excellent analytic, problem-solving, and research skills. Strong attention to detail, organisation, and multitasking abilities. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects/tasks with tight timelines. Knowledge of energy technologies (solar, wind, batteries, etc.). Ability to travel as needed. Good communication skills. Strong excel skills necessary. Ability to work in the UK. Desired: Experience in the renewable energy space. Further energy related qualification beyond Bachelor degree.
